Our story

My name is Vanessa, and I’m the founder of Mennillo.

I’ve always been drawn to fashion. But at 17, when I wanted to buy my first bikini, I ran into a problem: none of the ones I tried on fit me properly. I had a generous bust and a small waist, but most of the one-size-fits-all swimsuits either flattened my curves or had thick seams in all the wrong places. The result? I felt frustrated, uncomfortable, and to be honest almost invisible in what was supposed to be a fun, light summer outfit.

So, I decided to change things. In 2016, thanks to my sewing classes and the encouragement of friends who shared the same frustrations, I created Mennillo. I wanted swimwear that didn’t force me or any other woman to compromise: a minimalist look, maximum comfort, and a natural fit.

From the start, I committed to three things:

Fit first. Adjustable tops, perfectly designed bottoms, and different back coverage options so you can choose what suits your body best. Whether you prefer a thong, Brazilian cut, or more coverage, you should never have to force yourself to fit someone else’s mold.

Invisible comfort. Discreet seams. Durable fabric. Designs that provide support without irritation. Every detail is crafted for your comfort not just your appearance.

A constantly evolving style. We release new collections almost every month: new prints, fabrics, and styles always focused on quality and comfort. Because fashion should be exciting and enjoyable to wear.

Today, Mennillo is proudly based in Canada, with a small, dedicated team who shares the belief that every body deserves swimwear that fits, flatters, and frees.
